A proper pet carrier for transport

When moving a pet it is important that you have the proper pet carrier for transport. Your pet must be able to stand up and turn around without slouching in an IATA approved shipping kennel(carrier). You do not want to choose a kennel that snaps together it is always best to use one that screws together to avoid separation during travel. Water bowls and live animal stickers are also required. Although these crates are available at your local pet store if you are using a service it is in my opinion best to let your handler provide the kennel to avoid any mistakes and unnecessary added charges. A common mistake is to use a crate that is to large for their size pet this may cause an unsafe traveling environment for your pet. Always measure your pet from the top of the head to the floor and from nose to base of the tail to ensure you choose the proper crate for your pets travel needs.
