FRAUD on the Decline in the Pet Shipping Industry

The very common adopt a Puppy SCAM out of Africa, Nigeria, Cameroon and the like, has really been on the decline. Spreading the word about these kinds of SCAMS, blogging and web site Pet adoption WARNINGS, seem to have really been making a difference. These criminals now are trying to create fake Pet transport companies, rather than use real Pet shipping companies as the 'supposed' to be delivery service. In the past we saw more criminals pretending to be with real companies, now they seem to use variations of real company names or just make up fake company names completely. If only web sites like Kijiji.com and Craigslist.com would get on board, and help warn the unsuspecting public, we could be rid of this SCAM forever. The fact that mainstream sites and sites in general allow FREE listings (Ads) from anyone with no screening process at all, combined with the fact that Western Union and Money Gram let people send money to these crooks, when they are well aware of this SCAM and many other FRAUDS coming out of this part of the world, yet they are still allowing people to be taken. This is the only reason why this SCAM is still even out there at all. We have done everything to contact all of the companies and sites we have mentioned in this post, their actions prove that they feel no responsibility to anything. Which is why, if you are ever unsure about a Pet adoption that you found in a classified ad in a newspaper or a web site listing, you will know right away that it is a FRAUD, because at any time when payment is to be made by Western Union or Money Gram, you know it is a SCAM even if you found an ad in a Newspaper, or a site offering FREE pure bred Puppies for shipping costs, paid by these methods, it is a SCAM. Any site which allows classified ads is suspect, these criminals have even been known to use paid ads as well. Although things have really calmed down with this SCAM, it is still a real threat and is still found all over the Internet and publications worldwide. These criminals will stop at nothing to rip you off, remember, all of these SCAMS are out of African countries, make sure you talk on the phone in your countries language, beware of foreign numbers, incorrect use of language in emails, free email services like Yahoo, GMail, Rocketmail, Mail.com and the like, all signs of FRAUD. As always, if it sounds to good too be true, it is!

They got me, after many emails that kept dropping the price...apparently I sent the money order to wrong place and they are still trying to sell me on the pups. I reported them to the internet consumer advocate site. I even told them I had research them and they were a scam and I am still getting emails trying to convince me to give the the Money order number. Hopefully can get a hold of Western Union and get my $ back. DO NOT do business with anyone from Camoroon, etc. Make sure you are not sending $ by tranfer etc.

They got my friend. They lowered the price and the they got paid said they needed more. So we gave them more. They still did not deliver and asked for more. When we eventually refused they said "Fuck you! You are not getting your fucking monkeys!". So we told them we had paid (but we had not) and gave them non existing MTCN numbers for western union multiple times. They said "You are pretty much annoying me now!". And we continue to do so. We also pretended to be the police and they got very scared!

Thanks to the Kijiji site with the warnings from people knowing of these slimeballs I had my thinking cap on while I was doing emails from one of those scammers claiming to be from Newfoundland. The email they used was terovich@yahoo.com. They later contacted me calling themselves Pet Travel Services wanting a visa number. I told them to email me with the info. So now I'm just curious to see how far they will push it. They did not provide a picture or any info about the dog which was definitely a clue. I offered to pick up the dog but did not entertain that idea. So get the info out there about the slimeballs. Thank you

Lynn

Mimi is at the right of the picture looking a bit bigger. I can guarantee you will never regret having my puppies. Yorkies are the best amongs home pets . The shipping fee is $220 for one and $440 for both. If you are ready then i will need your full names, contact numbers and the nearest airport to your home where you will pickup the puppies. I just got scam on a yorkie puppy. LISA WALLACE told me that all i have to pay is 120 for the shipping fee via moneygram and that once i paid the shopping company the dog would be sent to me in 5 hours and 10min, that it is a door to door service. so i did send the money. they sent me the information on how the dog was going to be shipped. it was sent to paris first for some reason. then they call me telling me i need a permit for the dog and it is 180 dollars. i told them that i was told it was only 120 from morocco to the usa and that i was not told about no permit. i told them that i was not going to pay that and to send it back to lisa is that is the case. they told me no and that the dog was registered in my name and it was not going to be sent back to her. and if i dont pay the 180 by to day that i was going to get chagered for pet abuse. and they keep emailing me about how they are filing a case. i dont believe that it is true and i hope they really dont to that and can do that. if someone have info about that please let me know

[currently still happening] www.classifieds.berezka.com, complete fraud. Answered to a post on there, woman's name is MELISSA COY, uses a Yahoo email, and apparently it seemed like she was living in Los Angeles. When I emailed her, she said she & her husband were "working" and had been "relocated" to Morocco. (Notice they spell Casablanca with TWO S's, when it's not...and if they're really from the U.S., why so many grammar errors?) I kept emailing her back & forth. Eventually was contacted by air_marocpetdelivery@consultant.com; they emailed me AND called "unknown number". Why the private call? I was almost scammed with similar info to JAZMINE's post on here. $120 for shipping through money gram. I did it, then I immediately called and got it back. Thank God, because these people are non-existent.

I have just been scamed as well, i posted an add on kijiji looking for a small ,hyperallergenic dog, and had a man reply by the name of heather steward and the email address was heatherforgels@live.ca, he said he had just moved into a new apartment in halifax and it was not pet friendly and he had 3 puppies for adoption, they were all registered and up to date on vacines, so i looked at the photos and was interested, he said he could have the puppy shipped to me for 170.00 , and thats all he wanted, so i said okay, since im in cape breton that would save me a 5 hour drive, so i gave him my information and he said he was off to the airport with the puppy.. so then i got an e-mail from a company named fast global transport, and that i had to pay them the money by western union since they were having problems with their credit card machine. so i found it odd and hesitated a bit, but then i went ahead and sent the money, and they recieved it and said that my puppy would be sent to my door step at 730 the next morning and i had to be there waiting for it to show id.. so that was fine i was up and ready and an hour before that i got an email from them saying that my puppy was still in their care and that something went wrong with the flight before hers and that 3 puppies had died and that i would now need to send 575.00 to them in order to get the puppy safely delivered to my house, so i said no, i wasnt informed of this and i would not be sending more money to them that i knew this was a scam and that there is no way a dog kennel even costs that much and that they had said everything including the kennel was approved in the previous email the night before, they argued with me saying i was abusing them in the way i was talking to them and so on .. i didnt care at this point i was mad... then they said that mr heather wasnt responding to them, and i said well he will have to come take the puppy back because i refuse to have to pay that, and then mr heather emailed me said he couldnt take the puppy back because they would sue him in court and all this bull.. so then i said well there is nothing i can do and he said his son was sick and he had no money to deal with this and i was like sure i dont believe a work that is coming out of your emails.. and i was done with this ,, the email of the transportation company is fastglobaltransport@gmx.us , they use other companys logos and pictures, they requsted the money go to cameroon and in a random persons name that they said was on duty, so it was too good to be true and next time i will be picking up my puppy myself! good luck to everyone out there getting puppys i hope it all works out for you guys ! also does anyone know if western union will refund my money in anyway? thanks !!

I almost got scammed by Auston Miller. A woman claiming to have moved to Washington and needing to give away two english bulldogs for free. They wanted £195 from me. They asked for info name, number, etc. Then they text me...SCAM. What person doing business sends a text. I asked if it was was a scam and they got offended saying they were God fearing. I apologized. Their grammer was completely off. The owned two dogs and didnt ask which one i wanted. They just picked one...SCAM. They should asked. They kept texting me back to back to back asking if i sent the money. I told them i only had £100· auston miller asked her husband to pay the 95. I said ok. 30 secs later they claimed to have called the shipping company who said due to the financial situation i would have to pay to Cameroon since that is where the headquarters was located that handles these kind of situations. I had to send it via western union. Anywho, i googled the name auston miller, doesnt exist...SCAM! Even if i google, y name my facebook, twitter, google, blog, linked in, etc would pop up. So then i decided to google the shipping company...nothing....SCAM! So i googled the shipping companys email and it led me here....SCAM!!!!! Luckly for me, western union website was acting super weird and would not allow me to make the payment. By then i had discovered they were scammers so i cursed them out! I got no response.
IF they were only in wastington, why send the pup to Cameroon? Why not use a US shipping company? When i gave my nearest airport info, i did not give the correct name or spellimg, why didnt the company say anything about that?
Scam, Scam SCAAAAAMMMMM!!!!!!

Do your research first and ask yourself...is this a scam? Look for clues. If your gut is telling you it is a Scam then it mostlikely is! Get out while you can! If they refuse to neet you in person...ITS A SCAM!

They tried to scam me saying the puppy was in Lexington KY. We exchanged many emails. The shipping company called me late sunday night and it sounded off. Then they emailed me and there email address and logos seemed off. So I googled them and found out about the scam. I wish I could report them to the police. I had found them on penny saver and they were giving away a maltese for 350 with shipping. I tought it was a good deal. Byt it was a scam.
